Getting started

Train your agent

Websites, sitemaps, files, text, Q&A and Shopify products — and how to keep answers up to date.

The agent only answers from what you give it. When something isn't in its knowledge it says so and offers your team, instead of guessing.

Add knowledge

Open Build → Data sources and choose a type:

  • Website — give your homepage and the agent follows links to read the whole site. Use Only include URLs containing and Exclude URLs containing to keep it focused, and Max pages to stay inside your plan.
  • Sitemap — give /sitemap.xml for the most complete crawl.
  • Single page — one URL only, for example a price list.
  • Files — PDF, Word and text files, up to 25 MB each.
  • Text — paste anything: policies, price lists, opening hours.
  • Shopify — import your products so the agent can show product cards with photos and prices.

Each source shows its progress while it's learning. You can keep chatting meanwhile.

Q&A

Build → Q&A holds exact answers for exact questions. They take priority over everything else, so use them for prices, offers and anything that must be word-perfect. You can also fix any reply from Chat logs with Improve answer — it becomes a Q&A.

Business overview

After training, the agent writes a short overview of your business (what you sell, prices, delivery, policies). It uses this to answer general questions. Check it under Build → Data sources and edit it if something is off.

Keeping it up to date

  • Click Retrain on a source whenever your site changes.
  • Higher plans retrain websites automatically every night.
  • Activity → Needs review lists questions the agent couldn't answer well, so you know what to add.
